'Control: Ultimate Edition' and 'Concrete Genie' have been announced as the free PlayStation Plus games for February, with 'Destruction AllStars' available a free PS5 exclusive.

'Control' was developed by Remedy, who previously made the genre-defining mystery game 'Alan Wake'. The game, initially released in 2019, went on to become one of the most critically-acclaimed games of the decade, winning a Critics' Choice award, Best Art Direction at the Games Awards, and received nominations in several categories at the BAFTAs, picking up a win for its motion-capture performers.

'Concrete Genie', meanwhile, was equally critically-acclaimed, and picked up the award for Best Family Game at 2019's Gamescom. The single-player action-adventure sees players create living graffiti designs using the DualShock's motion control system, as well as solving puzzles along the way.

Last but not least, 'Destruction AllStars' - which is available only to PS5 players - is a brand-new vehicular combat game that has the look and feel of other arena shooters like 'Fortnite' and 'Apex Legends', but with the gameplay looking it's a mixture between 'Burnout' and 'Rocket League'.

Here's a video explaining the game from Sony's State of Play that talks through some of it. All of these games are free to download for PlayStation Plus subscribers from February 2nd.
