We are only just over the excitement of the Spice Girls blazing through Dublin on their tour, but if you still need more of a Girl Power fix, we have a special screening of 'Spice World' coming up to sort you right out.

Yes, it's a movie jam-packed full of moments more cringe-worthy than Maura with an ice pop on 'Love Island' but don't even try to pretend it won't be the best craic ever.

Also, it's the film you voted for!

To celebrate Pride, entertainment.ie has partnered up with ODEON Cinemas to host a special screening on June 27th. We asked our readers what movie you would like to see, and 'Spice World' was the hands down winner. Because who wouldn't want to be reminded of the 1997 hit which saw our favourite girl band hightailing it around London on a bus as they prepare for the biggest performance of their career? The film sees the girls play themselves (naturally) and is packed full of guest stars, flashbacks and even honest-to-God dream sequences.

Singing and dancing is encouraged throughout the movie screening and of course, dress up is more than welcome. In fact, the best dressed up Spice Girl will win a table for 2 at Roberta's pre-parade Pride Brunch on Saturday, 29th June. They will be serving a delicious brunch, cocktails and a DJ playing pop anthems to get you pumped for the parade.

The screening will take place on Thursday, June 27th at 6.30pm in the ODEON Point Square. Tickets are €15 plus VAT and will include a 'Spice World' drinks reception by Dingle Gin and Porterhouse beer before the movie, Just-Eat vouchers for all attendees and spot prizes to be won on the night.

'Spice World'

The best part of it all though? All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to ShoutOut.

ShoutOut is a community of volunteers and activists committed to improving life for LGBTQ+ people by sharing personal stories and educating school students, parents & guardians, teachers, youth workers and workplaces on LGBTQ+ issue.

Since 2012, ShoutOut have been delivering workshops in secondary schools across Ireland which tackle LGBTQ+ bullying, and have completed over 850 student workshops over the past 7 school years. ShoutOut rely on donations to run so even if you can't make 'Spice World', you can still donate here.

Tickets are selling fast so head on over to Eventbrite now to get your seat for this great night out and a glorious dose of Girl Power.

UPDATE: Due to unforeseen circumstances, this screening will now be the reader's runner-up choice, 'Mean Girls'. See here for more info.
