The 2015 Fantastic Four reboot was a critical and commercial disaster, despite featuring an impressive cast that included Kate Mara, Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Bell as the main heroes.

Although the finished product didn't end up as expected, the cast clearly had a great time working together as Mara recently told IGN "I know all the guys feel the same way. We love working with each other. We would love to actually play these characters in another way, somehow, in the future. I have no idea if that’s actually true, if that will happen, but I’d be really happy to do it."

She's not the only one to express interest in a sequel, with Miles Teller also saying he would like to make another film.

Despite the failure of the first film, the pair might still get their wish. Plans for a sequel were put on hold when the first film failed to generate interest, but earlier this summer writer / producer Simon Kinberg acknowledge the problems with the first film but revealed that Fox had not completely given up on the project, telling Den of Geeks "We want to make another Fantastic Four movie. We love that cast."
