The actor's friends and former colleagues have been sharing their memories of the infamous star online.

The Ray Liotta tributes have been pouring in overnight, following the shocking death of the 67-year-old yesterday evening.

Liotta is believed to have passed away in his sleep. He was filming his latest film 'Dangerous Waters' in the Dominican Republic.

The 'Goodfellas' and 'Grand Theft Auto: Vice City' voice artist is survived by his fiancée Jacy Nittolo and 23-year-old daughter Karsen from ex-wife Michelle Grace.

No foul play is suspected in his death, and his fiancée Nittolo was with him when he passed.

'Goodfellas' director Martin Scorsese said in a statement that Liotta "amazed" him and he was "so uniquely gifted": "I’m absolutely shocked and devastated by the sudden, unexpected death of Ray Liotta. He was so uniquely gifted, so adventurous, so courageous as an actor. Playing Henry Hill in Good Fellas was a tall order, because the character had so many different facets, so many complicated layers, and Ray was in almost every scene of a long, tough shoot. He absolutely amazed me, and I’ll always be proud of the work we did together on that picture. My heart goes out to his loved ones, and it aches for his loss, way too early."

Lorraine Bracco played Karen Hill in 'Goodfellas', the wife of Ray Liotta's mobster Henry Hill.

Another 'Goodfellas' co-star, Robert De Niro, said in a statement: "I was very saddened to learn of Ray’s passing. He is way too young to have left us."

Jamie Lee Curtis also starred in 'Dominick and Eugene' with Liotta.

Comedian Seth Rogen starred in 'Observe and Report' opposite Liotta.

The star also appeared in two 'Muppet' movies.

'Breaking Bad' star Giancarlo Esposito starred in 'Phoenix' from 1998 with Liotta.

Josh Brolin paid tribute to his "buddy" and "friend" on Instagram, who he says was taken "so soon".

'Identity' director James Mangold also contributed to the Ray Liotta tributes.

'Westworld' star Jeffrey Wright said he met Liotta for the first time last year.

Filmmaker Edgar Wright also shared his thoughts on the star's passing.

Taron Egerton, who stars alongside the late star in the upcoming Apple TV+ series 'In With The Devil' wrote a heartfelt message about when he first met the legendary actor.

If you don't have the film in physical form, 'Goodfellas' can be streamed online via YouTube, Google Play and Apple TV.
