Although you wouldn't put Ariana Grande and the screenwriter of 'Sicario' and 'Hell Or High Water' in the same boat, it turns out the two have some history - Grande receiving acting lessons from the celebrated screenwriter once upon a time.

In a lengthy profile with Esquire, Sheridan talked about his early years working and struggling as an actor before he eventually turned his hand to restarting the neo-Western genre. Once upon a time, Sheridan was utterly broke and eking out a living as an acting coach and one of his students just so happened to be Ariana Grande.

While Sheridan didn't divulge any details of Grande's acting talent, he did say that her mother used to pay him extra whenever he was hard up for money. As well as this, Sheridan also talked about the inspiration for the excellent 'Hell Or High Water', which was inspired by his own experiences with his mother's foreclosed ranch and his cousin's retirement from the Texas Rangers.
