The Audi Dublin International Film Festival is one of the highlights of the year for film lovers in Dublin and Ireland , with a number of premieres, gala screenings and so on set to take place in Dublin from February 16th to February 26th.

This year's programme will see a wide range of Irish talent at screenings across the city, with the likes of Cillian Murphy, Jack Reynor, Aiden Gillen, Moe Dunford set to attend. As well as this, international names such as Free Fire director Ben Wheatley, Ross Noble, Nathalie Baye and more will be attending premieres and screenings.

One name, however, will receive the prestigious Volta Award - acting icon Vanessa Redgrave, described by Tennessee Williams and Arthur Miller as "the greatest living actress of our time." Redgrave - who stars in Jim Sheridan's latest film, The Secret Scripture - will attend a gala Irish premiere of the film and receive the award on the night.

Tickets are on sale from tonight at 6.30PM, when the full programme will be launched and made available at ADIFF and we'll have a full list of recommendations of things to do and see this year from tonight.
