It seems like the music world has been waiting forever for Frank Ocean's long-awaited second album 'Boys Don't Cry', but it looks like the wait is almost finally over.

The r&b singer is set to release the follow-up to 2012's 'Channel Orange' this Friday, but it will only be available on Apple Music for an initial two-week period.

The New York Times cites an anonymous source 'with knowledge of the release plans' as revealing news of the release, which will include a major video as well as a printed publication called 'Boys Don't Cry' which will be distributed at Apple Stores.

In 2011, Radiohead undertook a similar campaign for their album 'The King of Limbs', distributing a free newspaper called 'The Universal Sigh' via record shops worldwide on the release date.

Earlier this summer, Ocean had posted the biggest hint yet that 'Boys Don't Cry' would be released in July. Since July has now come and gone, however, we'll believe that the album is out on Friday when we're listening to it...
