We all need a bit more love in our lives these days, and so Amazon Prime's anthology series has revealed its huge cast ahead of a second season return.

'Modern Love' season two will see 'Game of Thrones' star Kit Harington, 'X-Men' alum Anna Paquin, Irish actor Jack Reynor from 'Midsommar', 'Harry Potter' actress Miranda Richardson, and 'Good Will Hunting' star Minnie Driver all lead their own independent love stories.

The anthology series will see Irish director John Carney return for executive producing, writing, and directing duties. Carney helped bring the first season to life, which debuted on Amazon Prime in 2019, and starred Tina Fey, Anne Hathaway, and Andrew Scott.

One of the episodes from 'Modern Love' season two was filmed on location in Dublin, while the rest were filmed in and around New York City and state.

Alongside Harington, Paquin, Reynor, Richardson, and Driver, the next iteration of the series will also star 'Tron: Legacy' actor Garrett Hedlund, Gbenga Akinnagbe from 'The Wire', Lucy Boynton from Carney's 'Sing Street', 'Project Power' actress Dominique Fishback, and Maria Dizzia from 'Orange Is the New Black'.

Carney said of the series' return: "We’re so excited to bring a second season of this series to life, and give an opportunity to really shine a light on what matters most.

"With so much uncertainty in our current world, these stories bring truth and love to people everywhere, and I’m so appreciative to be a part of making that happen."

Carney will be joined by fellow Irish film director John Crowley ('Brooklyn'), Marta Cunningham ('Insecure'), Jesse Peretz ('Glow'), and Andrew Rannells ('Black Monday') who will each direct their own episode for the series.

'Modern Love' season two will arrive on Amazon Prime later this year.
