Ronny Cox
ActorA native of Cloudcroft, New Mexico, Ronny Cox came to Los Angeles
after six years of performing at the Arena Stage in Washington, D.C.
and New York City where he actively worked on and off Broadway and
with Joseph Papp's ""Shakespeare in the Park.""
His first major film role came when he was cast as ""Drew"" in
""Deliverance"" for which he is widely remembered for the ""Dueling Banjo""
sequence. His other feature credits include performances in ""Bound for
Glory,"" ""Some Kind of Hero,"" ""Taps,"" and ""The Onion Field."" One of
Cox's television credits is the Award-winning ""Our Town.""
Cox has just completed two features, ""visionQuest,"" a Harold
Becker film and ""Courage"" a production he co-wrote with wife Mary and
also co-produced.
