According to the recently deceased vineyard owner Antonio Docampo Garcia (so there's a bit of bias here) from Ribadavia in north Spain, the secret to his long life was a daily habit of up to four bottles of red wine.

Apparently Docampo would plough through a couple of bottles at lunch and then more again at dinner, with his son Manuel Docampo Lopez claiming that he could drink "a litre and a half all at once" and "never drank water". That doesn't sound physically possible (we're not medical professionals but surely that much wine would dehydrate and kill you long before 107) and it's worth noting that he only drank his own organic wine which may have been less potent than others.

Maybe some of it was just grape juice and he didn't know the difference half the time.
