As Britney Spears continues to fight her conservatorship case, fans and fellow celebrities have consistently vocalised support for her. Her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake, Brandy, Mariah Carey and more have spoken out for Britney, as has Cher.

In recent months, Cher said to news agency PA: "I think her father should move over and let her have her life.

"I believe she’s been paying long enough. It’s not like everybody on the strip in Las Vegas hasn’t been talking about this for a long time."

Before that, in response to an article about Britney's sister Jamie Lynn Spears moving in on the singer's assets, Cher spoke out on Twitter.

She wrote: "She Worked Hard, Was The Golden Goose, Made Lots Of
??, Got Sick, Now She’s The CASH COW.

"Does anyone Who’s Making?Off Her Being Sick, Want Her Well⁉️

"Someone Who Doesn’t Want Anything From Her Should Look Into Her Dr.& Her Meds. ???……Is It a Duck⁉️"

Now Cher has shared the best statement yet about the scandal, again turning to Twitter to have her say.

Utilising the #FreeBritney hashtag, which has been popular among the Britney's fans as an expression of their support of her, the ''Believe" singer wrote: "When #FreeBritney is FINALLY FREE?, I’m Taking her to San Tropez & We’ll ?Eat Ice Cream To Her Hearts Content."
