Oh boy, Twitter went into meltdown yesterday.

In case you weren't aware, yesterday saw a Chris Evans NSFW pic being circulated around the internet. Seemingly the 'Avengers' star accidentally posted a screenshot of his camera roll onto his Instagram account which featured a very compromising photo of himself. Before being swiftly deleted, it didn't take long for the entirety of the internet to search for the blunder. Tweets regarding the incident started flooding the internet, including the Irish Embassy in the US of all people. It was a very strange Sunday, in fairness.

Following his blunder, one on-screen colleague of Captain America began to rally behind him, offering up support in his time of need. And the one to do so was Mark Ruffalo, who has played opposite Evans as The Hulk. Ruffalo made a dig at the current US President, tweeting: "Bro, while Trump is in office there is NOTHING you could possibly do to embarrass yourself. See... silver lining."

Similarly, Evans' younger brother Scott decided to take the heat off of his sibling by playing dumb to the whole incident, saying: "Was off social media for the day yesterday. So. What'd I miss?"

Actress Kat Dennings, who appeared in both 'Thor' and 'Thor: The Dark World' began a conversation that the majority of us were thinking as this happened yesterday. She asked the social media platform: "The public respect for Chris Evans’ privacy/feelings is wonderful.

"Wouldn’t it be nice if it extended to women when this kind of thing happens?"

In the past, the actress was subject to having private photos shared without her consent, as well as other Hollywood stars such as Jennifer Lawrence and Vanessa Hudgens.
