Take this news with a small pinch of salt, but the baby rumours surrounding the Hollywood couple are allegedly true.

According to reports, Scarlett Johansson is pregnant with her first baby with husband Colin Jost. The couple, who met on the set of 'Saturday Night Live', have been married since October of 2020.

The publication Page Six has reported that the pregnancy rumours are true, following Jost's recent stand-up gig where he confirmed the news. A source who attended the event at Ridgefield Playhouse in Connecticut confirmed that the comedian said to the audience: "We’re having a baby, it’s exciting."

Page Six is the same publication that initially reported Scarlett Johansson was pregnant back in July after a number of sources came forward to deliver the news. At the time, neither Colin nor Scarlett commented on the speculation, but the husband has now apparently confirmed the hearsay.

It was noted that the 36-year-old Marvel star failed to attend many promotional events in the build-up to the release of 'Black Widow' - such as when she appeared virtually on both 'The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon' and 'Late Night with Seth Myers'.

Johansson has a 6-year-old daughter, Rose, from her previous marriage to Romain Dauriac. The couple were married for three years, from 2014 to 2017.

Scarlett made headlines recently due to her lawsuit against Disney. The star is currently filming the next Wes Anderson movie on location in Spain, which also stars Margot Robbie and Tom Hanks.
