Fear not Bushtucker Trial enthusiasts out there - you'll still get your fill this year.

That's right, ITV has confirmed that 'I'm a Celebrity' 2020 is still on the way, despite everything going on in the world at the moment. Maybe it has something to do with the upcoming series being its 20th run - and with it being the year 2020 - or maybe the TV channel just thinks the viewing public is in dire need of a laugh as celebrities get locked in a grave with hundreds of rats - either way, it's coming back.

Unlike the channel's other big reality TV earner 'Love Island', which won't be returning until summer 2021, the celebrity challenge show set down under is still in active development with hosts Ant and Dec expected to make a well-needed return to our screens.

For this 20th iteration of the series, a documentary show will also run alongside the main series, called 'I'm A Celebrity: A Jungle Story', which will take a look back at some of the reality series' most iconic moments and happenings (expect plenty of Gillian McKeith throwbacks).

ITV is heading back into producing more of their usual shows, such as 'The Chase' and 'The Only Way Is Essex', while their soaps 'Coronation Street' and 'Emmerdale' are already back filming under social distancing guidelines.

In terms of who will be in the line-up for 'I'm a Celebrity' 2020, no names have been revealed just yet. TV presenter Vernon Kay is rumoured to be a likely addition, as well as 'RuPaul's Drag Race UK' winner The Vivienne.

And sure, just in case your memory needs jogging, here's the moment contestant Gillian McKeith fainted on live TV after being nominated for her seventh Bushtucker Trial (she didn't have to do it in the end - but was voted to do the next one in the following episode).
