SNL's always been a bit up and down, but its political sketches are always top-notch.

Case in point being last night's piss-take of the Democratic Debate, featuring Kate McKinnon in her spot-on performance as Hillary Clinton and SNL regular Alec Baldwin as Jim Webb. The real star, we think, was Larry David as Bernie Sanders.

For those who of you unfamiliar with Curb Your Enthusiasm, Larry David's one of the most successful comedy writers in television. He, along with Jerry Seinfeld, created the TV show Seinfeld and was its chief writer and executive producer.

Larry David also served as the inspiration, in part, for George Costanza and after seeing this, we're pretty sure he's also the inspiration for Bernie Sanders.

Take a look.

"I FIND A GOOSE BEFORE, I CAN DO IT AGAIN!"

Honestly though, where's our final season of Curb Your Enthusiasm? Larry David's left us hanging on that front.
