Gwyneth Paltrow is no stranger to controversy when it comes to sharing her well-being tips: who can forget her advice to women to 'steam-clean' their lady bits?

Now the actress has come in for criticism after sharing her daily eating habits on a new podcast.

In an interview on The Art of Being Wellbeing podcast, the 50-year-old Goop founder went into detail on her daily routine - leading some to call her diet 'dangerous' and 'genuinely sad', with one Tik Tok user commenting: 'This literally sounds like a colonoscopy prep'.

"I eat dinner early in the evening. I do a nice intermittent fast," she said. "I usually eat something about 12 and in the morning I have things that won’t spike my blood sugar so that’s why I have coffee.

"But I really like soup for lunch. I have bone broth for lunch a lot of the days. Try to do one hour of movement, so I’ll either take a walk or I’ll do Pilates or I’ll do my Tracy Anderson."

She added: "And then I dry brush and I get in the sauna. So I do my infrared sauna for 30 minutes and then for dinner I try to eat according to paleo – so lots of vegetables.

"It’s really important for me to support my detox."

Paltrow also revealed that she has done 'rectal ozone therapy' in the past, where gas is pumped into the colon via a catheter, saying "It's pretty weird. It's pretty weird, yeah. But it's been very helpful."

She also drinks ketone drinks, which the podcast host said tasted like 'cherry gasoline'.

Paltrow agreed: "It helps with cognition and brain fog and energy. I have it with green tea in the afternoon. It tastes pretty, pretty bad. I believe that they are coming out with an improved flavour or an improved version, which is very exciting."

Needless to say, the internet is having none of it...
