Brigitte Nielsen gave birth to her fifth child and first daughter on Friday with her 39-year old Italian husband, Mattia Dessi.

Nielsen, who is now 54, previously gave birth to four children - 34-year-old Julian, whom she has with first husband Kasper Winding, 28-year-old Killian with Mark Gastineau, and 25-year-old Douglas and 23-year-old Raoul Jr., whom she had with fourth husband Raoul Mayer.

Her son, Julian Winding, is a musician and contributed to the soundtrack for 'The Neon Demon', directed by his half-uncle Nicolas Winding Refn. In a statement released to People Magazine, Nielsen announced her daughter's name as Fiona and said it's "been a long road, and so worth it. We’ve never been more in love."

Nielsen's announcement of her pregnancy caused a stir given her age, however Nielsen was adamant that it was the right for her. In an Instagram post, she said that "(nobody) has the rights to lead your own decision unless you allow them to do so. You’re the only one in charge of yourself and your own happiness."
