A reading of the Roald Dahl classic 'James and the Giant Peach' is coming to your screens at home with a difference. Taika Waititi, Chris Hemsworth, Ryan Reynolds and more will be reading the children's novel to you.

Taika Waititi was in the news of late for being confirmed as the director of the next 'Star Wars' movie.

Chris Hemsworth also recently bragged about Waititi's upcoming feature 'Thor: Love and Thunder', which the two are collaborating on after the success of 'Thor: Ragnarok'.

Waititi is also an Oscar winner his screenplay for the feature 'Jojo Rabbit'.

The writer-director-actor is now using his time is isolation for a good cause. It involves a complete reading of 'James and the Giant Peach' across ten installments in aid of charity.

The star-studded readings will be available exclusively on the official Roald Dahl YouTube channel.

Its first two episodes are now live and you can watch them, as well as the trailer for the series, below.

Episode one sees Waititi joined by brothers Chris and Liam Hemsworth as well as Nick Kroll.

Episode two's readers are Meryl Streep and Benedict Cumberbatch.

The remaining installments land on Youtube on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10 a.m. PST/6 p.m. BST.

The book reading will raise funds for Partners In Health, a global health nonprofit founded by Roald Dahl’s daughter, Ophelia.
